London: Sherlock Holmes Museum

When you like Sherlock Holmes, ánd you’re in London, you have to go to the Sherlock Holmes Museum. It’s cheap, small, and when you don’t have a lot of time, it’s perfect. Even if you don’t know a lot about Sherlock Holmes, but you’re curious about it, it’s still fun! The Museum is in the apartment on 221B Baker Street, London.



Sherlock Holmes is a character created by the writer Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Sherlock Holmes has become one of the most known characters in the world.

In the stories, Sherlock Holmes is a detective from the late 19th century. Holmes is known for his intelligence, and his ability to make conclusion from small, but often unimportant clue. Holmes describes himself as a ‘consulting detective’, which means that people could visit him in his apartment on 221B Baker Street in London, to ask for advice. Holmes went on detective-adventure together with his friend and Doctor John Watson.

    I really, really want to have a living room that looks like that! Why don’t we have these anymore? My aquariums would look so cool on each sides of the fireplace!

  2. Holmes’ address in the stories was 221B Baker Street, so the museum HAD to be there! I used to know someone who was a huge Sherlock fan – and I ended up with all of his crap. So I own a deerstalker hat, a meerschaum pipe, and the funky jacket, too. Oh, and a violin. Hehee!
